New Sexifiers

The new beauty trends guaranteed to add hotness to any outfit. Where you rock them is up to you....

  • SUPERSIZE YOUR SMOKE
When it comes to smoky eyes, be bold.Get over the fear of lot of product on your face and create a defined cloud of colour. Apply a cream eyeshadow all over the lid with a brush, along the lower lashes and extend out, in line with your eyebrow edge. Soften with a cotton bud and add two coats of black mascara. Keep lips nude and moisturised followed by lip balm.

  • KEEP SKIN RAW
Lipstick is everywhere at the moment, but are you wearing it correctly? The thing that makes lipstick cool is when it's worn with raw skin rather than lashings of foundation. Use a tinted moisturiser and add a touch of concealer only where you need it.

  • BE BOLD, BE MATTE
Matte is the look for lips, and it'll last longer too.You don't need a matte lipstick; just apply colour with a lip brush, blot with tissue and add translucent powder to reduce shine. Hot brights will wake up your day.

  • THINK'70S
Glamorous from the '70s is huge this season, so nail the skills now. Brushed-out curls and sequins are a match made in heaven. Put the heated curlers in as you do your make-up, then unwrap and brush till curls are just the side of frizzy. Keep hair slicked at the crown. You could also try a natural non-aerosol hairspray to give a wet-look effect.

  • ADD SHIMMER
The key to a retro eye look is the round shape. Take a shimmery eyeshadow into the inner corners and follow the brow bone. Add a bit of Vaseline to the centre of the eyelid for a mirror shine.

  • DO THE POWER PARTING
Nothing oozes sex appeal like hair falling into your eyes. Who cares if you can barely see the dance floor! For max effect, keep hair flat against your head and have you parting really low. Smooth a finishing cream between your palms and rake hair into a parting to make if fall diagonally over the face. Tuck hair either side of your ear on the opposite side to the sweep

NUDE MAKEUP- The Do's & Dont's

The trend of nude or minimalist makeup is big right nowl. It is also perfect for the summers where one wants to look pretty, but not overdone. Looking at pictures splashed across magazines, you may decide that the nude look requires less or no makeup. However, the opposite is true. To achieve that flawless nude look, you require makeup as well as skill. While it may be dificult initially, it is not impossible. Following these simple tips you will be closer to attaining that fresh look.

It is pertinent to remember that nude makeup looks best on skin that is flawless and glowing. So a concealer is going to be your best friend here. Nude makeup is about having a fresh face, nude glossy lips and smoky eyes. The key factor is that your lips should look natural. Colour should be kept to a minimum. Just add a coat of light coloured gloss. For your eyes, line it with a black eyeliner and two coats of mascara. Voila!! You are ready to go.

YOU WILL NEED:
  • Concealer
  • Lip balm
  • A lip gloss with a slight tinge of pink or peach
  • Black eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Either a tinted moisturiser or a foundation that is light in texture and transparent with a powdery finish.

DO
  • Use a suitable foundation
  • Use a concealer
  • Use lengthening mascara to enrich your eyelashes against dark circles.
  • Use a cream or beige eye shadow in a shade close to your skin's natural one.
  • Remember to cleanse and moisturise your skin before starting.
  • Try tinted moisturiser instead of regular foundation.
  • Remember to use products as close to your skin tone as possible.

DON'T
  • Use too many colours. Stick to the neutrals, like beige, peach and rose.
  • Overdo on concealer as it will highlight that part of the face.
  • Dab too much concealer on your lips. It will only make it look untidy.
  • Use too pale a shade as you will end up looking ghostly.
  • Forget that minimum is the way to go for nude makeup.
  • Think that this look calls for special cosmetics. All you need to do is choose colors that match you skin tone.

how to save money fast- for you girls!!

So here let me give you a few valuable tips in how to save money...long-term!

1. Differentiate Your Spending
You need to understand the difference between essential and non-essential spending on your route to saving the greenbucks! For example, your rent and your electrictiy need to be paid for without fail. Your WiFi connection, on the other hand, is a non-essential expense. Use the Internet connection at work for most of your to-dos. List all your monthly expenditures and label each as essential and non-essential.

2. Rank Non-Essential Expenses
Based on how important each is to you, take a long, hard look at your non-essential spending. For example, if you're shelling out megabucks for a yoga class that yu rarely find time to attend, cancel it ASAP. Whenever you feel the need for a physical pep-up, go for a walk instead. Get rid of as many expenditures as you can that are unnecessary and that you can actually do without.

3. Cut Your Costs On Essentials
Once you've trimmed away unnecessary drains on your budget, it's time to check where you can cut corners on the expenses you've held on to. For instance, is there a cheaper cable package than the one you're currently using? Do you pay for both a landline and a cellphone--could you get rid of the landline? Is it possible for you to cut back on your cellphone plan and pay less per month? These tips help you save a sizeable amount every month.

4. Learn To Be a Smart Shopper
Your food budget is a perfect place to evaluate when you are looking at saving money fast. Stop eating out every other night and start cooking. Replace expensive olive oil with a good brand of refined oil. Learn to rustle up one dish meals that are healthy and wholesome. Besides groceries, learn to shop smarter all around. Try hitting sales and flea markets for fashionable clothing. Mix and match what you have and come up with unique DIY ideas for your outfits. Don't rate quality by price alone.

Tips to get your figure slim

Most of the times it’s easy to lose weight, but it is very difficult to keep the results. Here are some easy to follow tips on how to be able to deal with this problem.

Very cliched, but still effective way is to put an old picture of yourself with the “old” you, which apparently you do not like, on the refrigerator or the cabinet with sweets. So every time you reach for something to eat and think, “Well, so what? Nothing will happen to me from one piece”, you will see what you were before and you will immediately remember why you had put yourself through the diet and why it is so important to keep the results.
Another way is to make a list of everything you like in your new body, how and why it makes you feel confident and happy. Look this list regularly and remind yourself why you should not throw the entire hard work, of losing weight and getting into shape, away. Proper motivation is most important.

Try new healthy recipes. This will diversify your menu, you will find a new favorite dishes and will have less need to return to your old eating habits.

Turn some sport into your hobby. Find what you like and do it with pleasure – gym, home exercise, dance – folk or Latin, jogging in the park, no matter what, the important thing is to practice it regularly to keep the dream figure, along with your smile and good tone.

Top fashion icons

Michelle Obama

In her closet: Jason Wu, Narciso Rodriguez, Zero + Maria Cornejo, J.Crew, Rodarte, Talbots, Azzedine Alaïa
Key accessory: Lanvin sneakers
Thing you can't imitate: The photo ops

Let's get the cheesy clichés out of the way at the beginning: Michelle Obama, our commander-in-chic, has proudly exercised her right to bare arms. There now! Touted as the savior of Seventh
Avenue before her husband was even sworn in, the First Lady has in fact crafted a look that's totally non-hyperbolic: She's an everywoman with smart high-low taste, a good figure, and, on occasion, the need to dress for a black-tie event with the world's most powerful rulers in attendance. Her efforts have landed her on Vanity Fair's International Best-Dressed List for four years running, an unheard-of achievement for someone who isn't married to a minor European nobleman.

Kate Moss

In her closet: Vintage
Key accessory: Indie rocker boyfriend
Thing you can't imitate: The attitude

Wellies, denim cutoffs, men's blazers, skinny jeans, ballet flats, skull scarves, fringy boots, fur chubbies, motorcycle boots, shrunken vests…basically, everything you've had or wanted to have in your closet over the past ten years first appeared on the back, foot, neck, or arm of the unsinkable supermodel. And if you want a piece of the Brit's look, you'd better hurry to Topshop, where Moss' signature line—an unapologetic rehashing of her greatest hits—will have its last full collection this fall.

The Olsens

In their closets: The Row, Givenchy, Rick Owens, Balenciaga, Giambattista Valli
Key accessory: Then: venti Starbucks cup. Now: soon-to-debut bag from The Row
Things you can't imitate: Hair, bank balance

Both lauded and lambasted mid-decade for draping their waifish frames with oversize layers to stalk through the NYU campus, Mary-Kate and Ashley graduated to become major trend igniters (not to mention the respected designers of their own lines, The Row and Elizabeth and James). Last spring, we wondered if the "anti-fashion" the twins had suddenly taken into wearing was a harbinger of things to come. One look at the pared-down Fall collections—from Dries to Celine—and, well, we think we have our answer.

Sarah Jessica Parker

In her closet: Oscar de la Renta, Halston Heritage, Chanel, Alexander McQueen
Key accessory: "Manolos!"
Thing you can't imitate: The ability to give a designer a major fashion credit in your movie

Two words: Carrie Bradshaw. With stylist Patricia Field hovering off-screen, SJP's alter ego made Mr. Blahnik a household name and popularized off-beat accessories from flower pins to nameplate necklaces—not to mention legitimizing spending as a form of empowerment, therapy, and, above all, fun. Whatever you think of the aftereffects—and it is now officially impossible to traverse certain areas of New York City without stumbling into hordes of the over-accessorized—Parker's affection for fashion seems beguilingly sincere, as her decision to lay it on the line as creative director at Halston Heritage shows.

Chloë Sevigny

In her closet: Her Opening Ceremony line, Valentino, Proenza Schouler, Chloé
Key accessory: Bare legs
Thing you can't imitate: Actual acting ability

She's appeared on not just her pal Tara Subkoff's Imitation of Christ runways, but also on the catwalk at Dolce & Gabbana; labels from Chloé to Uniqlo have used her in their ad campaigns; she's a favorite of designers like Stefano Pilati and the Proenza Schouler boys; and she has her very own collection for Opening Ceremony. But the ultimate proof of Sevigny's icon status? Even the austere sister-wife style of her Big Love character has been influential. How else to explain the side braid at Alexander Wang and Miu Miu's Spring shows?
